I applied on may 22nd at service Canada. Called in late July to transfer to local office ( Kitchener) due to upcoming trip on aug 25th. Just got a call today that file was transferred and I can pick up on Aug 24th.

So how are people who have sent their app in June have already starting receiving their passports. Weird

This all happened in a single day? I also requested transfer a few days back but wasnt given any transfer number

Hey Thanks for the reply. That kind of sucks though! I was hoping that my file would definitely be transferred. The agent on the phone did mention that I will likely not hear back until the day before my travel, which makes no sense to me. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see.

hi can I ask, after your file transferred, did they simply call you on the 13 to let you know that you can pick up passport on the 15th? I’m just trying to understand that do you need to go into office after they call, before you pick the passport? And then go again to pick up the passport?

I am in the same boat. Also got approved on the 15th but haven't received the card in mail yet. Although I haven't checked my mail today.

Hi. I submitted my application on June 13th and on Friday (july 14th), I received AOR. I was able to link my PR application but not the OWP (I followed steps from earlier pages on this discussion but the system wasn't able to find it. Maybe there's another trick?). Or should I give it some time...
