As I previously said, I DO NOT know if the system has changed. When I applied they did NOT want you to submit it with the application. I didn't know why however having a best friend that works ar the Canadian high commission cleared up my doubts. She informed me that the police record that's...

I have not visited this site in about a year but saw your question ( I normally get an email when someone send messages here) and decided to respond. Firstly, if you do it inland it will take longer( about two years). It took me 7 months as my husband sponsored me while I was in Jamaica. So less...

Good luck with your application. I've gone completed the process over a year ago. It took me 7 months in total but it's worth it. Enjoy the process, it will be stressful at times but you will look back and smile at this time.

Don't be too concern about the additional photos they ask for. They asked me for passport size photos too and I had initially submitted those with the application as well but apparently they needed it to staple to my form. I also got my Visa on spot. So don't worry too much about that request .

Now that you have explained I think I fully understand your plight. Mario it will take a while. The process can be frustrating but try not to focus on it too much.

It doesn't matter which visa you have, I have the US and Canadian too. I even had the Schengen, Croatian and Caymanian. They didn't help to expedite the process one bit. It all depends on when you submitted and where you are in the queue. Make sure you fill out the form correctly and provide all...

Ask someone to send it to him. Who needs to certify it? A Jp? If that's the case, that shouldn't be that difficult. One of his family member in Jamaica, should be able to do it for him and send it to him. I hope he has family members he can depend on in Jamaica.

I don't think there is one. I guess the old Jamaican forum catered to that but it's inactive but we could start one.

He needs a visa. My brother in law got the card and he needed a US visa to go to the States. Only if he is citizen he can travel to the states without the visa. Its not hard to get though once he gets his PR Card.
