Canoo app is not completing the scan because given name is blank in citizenship certificate. How can we solve this issue and proceed ? Thank you!

Received the citizenship certificates today.. in less than a week after oath ceremony. That was quick. Will go to Service Ontario sometime next week to change name of my wife (split last name into two in place of blank given name). Thank you everyone for giving me company during this 1.5 year...

Did anyone in this group go through name change process after receiving citizenship certificate? especially splitting one name into two names (no last name in previous passport)? This is what I am thinking the process could be: 1) receive certificate 2) apply for name change at service...

Got an update today. Oath Ceremony scheduled for 9th Feb.

Citizenship ceremony "not started". All others changed to "completed" yesterday.

8 months after the test and 9 months after BGC complete, got a fingerprint request again today. BGC in progress again. feels like groundhog day movie.

Does approaching local MP help in speeding up the process in any way?

still background verification "in progress" (completed once and now back to inprogress). test completed in Feb.

It has become impossible to reach IRCC over phone. Does anyone know if any particular sequence of selections can puts us on the queue? Every option I tried just asks me to call later and disconnects.

Fingerprints were taken in December. So 3 more months for expiry. Not sure what they are doing.

My wife received fingerprint request in December and background verification got completed in January. Test was over in Feb. Today BG check again went into "in progress" state. I don't understand what is happening. Anyone has similar experience?

I would be celebrating 1 year anniversary of my application this weekend. I know many of you were not so lucky and couldn't get a chance to celebrate the anniversary. (try to find something positive)

I have been trying for many days. They always hang up after that "high volume" message. I am either not calling the correct number or this needs lot of luck (which I don't seem to be having looking at my application processing time)
