Hi, i'm looking to give fees for my PG Diploma for 1 semester but the thing is i still haven't got my visa and the offer letter says $5000 CAD as non refundable. what if i get reject for student visa since profile not strong etc. is this risk too high?

i called a couple of career counselors here in India and they dissed my idea of getting into a college let alone a university or a student visa with my profile. Anyway, i just wanted to know the facts as i'm a little apprehensive about these consultants.

Apologies as i didn't make myself clear from the beginning. i've only started looking to apply to colleges and universities. So, if anyone could recommend a course or a college which would eventually lead to a Student Visa(high probability). Any help much appreciated.
