Ottawa jurisdiction check only once a week, After 8 or 10 weeks from the date of submission there maybe an update . Worst office. August 12th Submission, August 17th Acknowledgment. Nothing yet.

OCI typically takes 8 weeks for Ottawa, you can not say less than that based on one or 2 applications, unless you are lucky 5 weeks as one person got so far.
