    What Visa office is your application? As you have rec'd pre-arrival info it is very likely that your case would be successful. But your VO appears to be taking its time...as it probably has alot of processing.

    It all depends on whether you are inland or outland applicant, and which visa office is processing your case. The timeframe varies based on these factors....as there is no set time.

    Usually when your VO provides you with Pre-arrival info it usually means your application is close to completion. Have you gotton your Passport request as yet?

I myself contemplated switching to EE, but then I thought of the additional fees etc and that I was almost there and my application was moving.     Hi Rizwan congrats to you!! I am sure you feel a sense of relief and now its prepation stage. My quest is how long from when you got your PPR to when it was stamped and approved? I know you got it Aug 16, but not sure when you would have sent it to them?

    Don't think it matters if you change jobs after your application is in process. At least you would have a job...lol. CIC just wants to know if your skills are compatible with the NOC that you would have identifed in your application. Notification of this change is not necessary in my view!

    Having lost your job is not a good predicament to be in. CIC tends to want you to validate work experience by obtaining a job letter with duties etc. But if you can prove your NOC skills in another way e.g with previous contract or getting a letter from your former employer outlining your duties...

    Country is Trinidad, and I filed my application with CIC in Nova Scotia where all applications have to go b4 being dispatched to different embassies/ visa offices.

    Got my passport request today!! Hallelujah...the end is near! Not over until I see that passport back in my hand...lol
