    go refused on aug 2. this is the 2nd time now. "purpose of visit" was the refusal reason ticked. I have applied for CAIPS but it will take time. Not going to make it for the fall intake :(

    applied June 29. was admitted to Computer Engineering, bachelor's degree at York University. Grade 10 - 90% Grade 12 - 92% IELTS - 8.5 Band overall Bank statement showing 150,000+ CAD.

    Visa rejected today, paper based, VFS dubai. Only reason mentioned was "purpose of visit". This is my 2nd refusal. Very disappointing.

    The reason for refusal was simply 'purpose of visit'. I showed more more than 120,000CAD in account.

    Visa applied on May 10th. REFUSED on May 25th. Reason for refusal : 1) Purpose of visit 2) Personal assets and financial status. I'm accepted to engineering at York. Unfortunate, but I plan to apply again by next week.
