What is your application status now? I was told by IRCC agent that the final decision would come soon. But it's been a week now and still no updates

I still see a lot of Dec 2016 and Jan/Feb 2017 applicants waiting for PPR now. We just need to relax and wait

I was in the same situation. I applied in July 2017. No updates since AOR. I received MR at the beginning of January 2019. After medical passed, the background check passed in the next 3 weeks. Apparently IRCC would speed up the processing if your application is close to the deadline.

It should be the last step before PPR and DM. The steps are Criminality -> Eligibility -> Security If you have received ghost updates after medical passed, probably your background check was passed.

The source is not official. I was told by people who went through this process before. Also I read some blogs about this issue. It looks like at a certain point (maybe between AOR and Medical exam), we would receive notifiation from CIC that we cannot leave Canada until a decision has been made...

From my understanding, inland means that your application is processed by visa office in Canada, and you also live in Canada. Usually, applying through inland means that you cannot leave Canada before receiving an result. Outland applicant means that it's processed by visa office of your...
