I did my FP with an agency which sends it directly to RCMP. i dont have any idea about the Police station process. Don't worry once you have it on you send it to the office address. Once clear it seems they just update it on the GCMS for the interview officer to see as all clear.

You should receive your test invite anytime soon, keep studying the guide , nowadays people are receiving test invite by email with only 7 days heads up. FP clearance has nothing to do with test invite.

Yes, it's normal. Same thing happened with me i also received the FP request by mail with no update on Ecas about it.

I forgot to update something , i lost my spouse COPR between my test-interview and Oath. Applied for VOS on urgent basis along with the copy of oath invitation. Got the VOS within 5 days by email.

Check Ecas for the update once you see the 5th Line,You shall receive it my snail mail within 2-3 days.
