Finally got HR to offer me an extension after convincing them that I can keep working on implied status. I pray the work permit extension gets approved soon

Still waiting here. CEC Inland, AOR Jan 29. Only update was when medical passed, background check IP since then.

same here, no change in background check since Feb when it went IP. Got a reply for the email I sent saying my application is currently under review and requires additional verifications so I guess I'll be waiting a little longer than usual.

My work permit expires this weekend. Applied for my BOWP on May 3, no update since then.

Country of nationality is Nigeria. I don't have any govt work or military history.

Hmmm so are you also experiencing a delay in your application @canadacanada17 ? I ordered my gcms notes, hopefully I can see why mine has been delayed. I sent an email and got a response that my application is under review and requires additional verifications so I don't know what this means.

Hey guys, I'm just trying to understand why my application is taking longer than everyone else and the only reason I can think of is my US travel. I didn't stay more than 6 months but I do have a travel history of about 5 months. Does anyone know if this causes a delay in PR application? CIC...
