That sucks =/ I wonder what took them so long to review the data.

DNA Test to prove parent-child relationship

Funny you mentioned that. I ordered GCMS notes last night and I got this letter today. Not sure if it's just a coincidence, but it wouldn't hurt to look at what exactly was causing the doubt.

Yeah, I already contacted the designated lab to get the process started. Hopefully they're efficient at arranging everything so the test can be done in a timely fashion.

Thanks for the reply! Once the results came out, did it take long before the decision made status appears?

DNA Test to prove parent-child relationship

After 9 months long wait, the HKVO sent me a letter today saying that the immigration officer thinks the evidence on hand isn't sufficient to prove my relationship with my wife and my now 6-month old son, which is rather ridiculous because: I flew back to China and stood by my wife's side for 7...

    Duplicated ECAS status

But I only have one request dated Aug. 22 under my CIC. What's weird is that the Aug. 22 line was only added onto ECAS recently. I checked past Friday and it wasn't there.

    Duplicated ECAS status

Hi guys, I checked my ECAS this morning and saw two statements that said pretty much the same thing, the date is only one day apart. The request it spoke of is basically asking for Schedule A and PCC upload, which I already did a long time ago: We received your application for permanent...

Any updates for June or July applicants? Even NDVO started processing July and August applications, and they're known to be fairly slow at processing.

****JULY 2017***** OUTLAND SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP OUTSIDE OF CANADA

Thanks! Does everyone receive AOR2 before things move forward? They requested and received my son's hospital birth certificate in November, and my wife passed her medical exam, but nothing's updated on ECAS... not sure how long it'll take normally for HKVO to provide an update.

****JULY 2017***** OUTLAND SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP OUTSIDE OF CANADA

Would those of you who received your AORs please check your tracking information and let me know who was the person that signed as the receiver of your application package?

***MAY 2017***OUTLAND SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP OUTSIDE OF CANADA

I think we should ask those who received their AORs to look up the person responsible for signing off their application packages. If it's a different person, then we have some confidence that this particular employee might be related to the delayed AORs.
