Yes, I arrived first as a visa exempted visitor, after 6 months I was on implied for about a month than got a work visa. But I didn't work right away, I went to follow the government French class for about a year. I guess I'll make sure I have enough days without counting the visitor time

Hi Trinh, you can get RAMQ only with AIP letter, or your OWP and full time employment. I don't think RAMQ is mandatory for the french classes, my husband has already been registered in francisation for two semester and he is not eligible for health insurance...

I think you should wait a bit more. Government postal delays are normally 7-10 business days. Suposing they sent your COPR on February 28th, 10 business days would get you to March 14 2018. And they might not put the document in the mail right away after signing it...

If you haven't taken an upfront medical exam before you send the owp application, your wife will be restricted from working in the health field. To remove those conditions she'll need to take the medical exam and send a new owp application.

You can get RAMQ if you have the owp and are working full time, of if you receive your AIP letter
