Is it just me or are we already seeing a slowdown in citizenship processes? Personally, for me, the process was quite fast. As an Oct 2022 applicant, I got a decision made on March 9, but nothing since. Hopefully the labor disruptions do not impact the citizenship process too much.

Same here! Based on the tracker, August 2022 applicants are getting their BG complete and test Invites at this time, so perhaps 2 months from now, we will get ours. That being said, there are many more factors at play

They were married in India over 36 years ago, when Marriage certificate wasn't a thing yet. I'm pretty sure a lot of folks are in the same boat. Any suggestions or what can be done in lieu of the marriage certificate?

Question - For parents marriage certificate, what other docs can be provided if it doesn't exist? Do they have to fill out IMM 5409?
