    I applied for COC with a long term visit pass. Last week I became PR. So the problem is just I need to apply for a new one? But COC is with my passport number. If visitor pass doesn't count why did they issue it to me?

    Thanks for the reply. Your comment reminds me of something. When I applied for the COC I was holding a visitor pass in Singapore. But now I'm a Singapore PR. I'm still living in Singapore. Maybe this is the reason??

    I KNOW!!!!!! this is so depressing... well i hope what i shared here can be for others reference too. maybe apply with ITA doesn't work all the time. I would like to know if anybody applied singapore COC with cic request letter and how the statement is on their COC... Waiting for answers .....

    its hard to understand... i mean...my husband is singaporean, so i thought that was the reason for the difference. but if others could be approved why couldn't mine? and i don't know where to ask what the problem was. :(:(:(

    well, yes and no. by the guideline i was supposed to wait for a request letter from cic, but i applied with ita, which a lot of people did. so did my husband. but his coc was fine. mine was not accepted.
