    Divorce certificate Pakistan

Thanks for the reply. Is there a link that shows what documents are required by IRCC for Pakistan (or any country)? 1. How do we assure it's fed into the NADRA system? Would the person need to go to NADRA and update their profile? Is the certificate not enough on it's own? 2. If one did need...

Has anyone been able to obtain a UC (non NADRA) certificate recently? One of my relatives is going through this process and the UC/the lawyer say that "we made those 20 years ago, not anymore" I've read about others being able to obtain the certificate, so I'm wondering how they were able to...

Spouse sponsorship refusal - MFL issue

As for your husband, did he marry you within the 90 days mentioned in MFLO 1961? If so, then I am honestly not sure how to go about this. If he did not, then he can have the certificate made for him based on his previous divorce (I am guessing he simply used rupee paper)

Spouse sponsorship refusal - MFL issue

Did you get divorced in Pakistan? Do you have a Divorce Registration Certificate from your Union Council? If you only have a rupee paper, then per Pakistan's own laws, you are not officially divorced. You will need to have the certificate made. Make sure there are at least 90 days between...

    Pakistan Divorce Certificate Issue----Help----

Should be no issue. I also suggest putting more than 90 days so there is no issue at all. Actually, per Muslim Family Laws Ordinance 1961, the divorce is effective "at the expiration of 90 days", so technically it should be 91 days or later for the date of effectiveness of divorce.

Confused about this Letter from LVO need help

To everyone in this situation - you have to make sure your certificate follows Muslim Family Laws Ordinance 1961. It does not matter if the divorce deed has one talaq, or three - the 90 day period must be shown in the Union Council Certificate. Western countries such as the US and Canada will...
