In mycic account if you have linked your file, it will turn into approved from submitted once approved. If it does not change within specified time which i guess is 61 days, i would say contact cic by phone.

You may check status of your PR Card from your mycic account by linking your PR Card application to your account.

Initial PR card application can be linked in mycic account. You might got confusion while talking to officer. I would suggest please call again to confirm. Many of the applicants fail to link their application due to wrong credentials they enter while linking.

If you have taken your photo correctly according to their specification then you don't need to worry about. CIC will take photo from your CoPR for initial PR card. If there is any issue with the foto, CIC might ask for new ones.

Thanks for your compliments and reply. But, letter clearly states send all passports in a single package. I think it won't be right to send passports separately to two different visa office without the consent of CHC-London. Guess needs to further dig out.

Does anyone know how to send passports in a single package for PR visa if family is not living in a single country I got a passport request to submit passports but the issue is i am working in middleeast while wife n kids are back at home country in Pak. Don't know how to get through it
