The biometric request is auto generated. You usually get it the same day or the next day after you submit your application. It does not take months to get biometrics request.

Hi, When was your first application made! When you make an application via portal, all other applications (for the same purpose) prior to that get withdrawn with no gurantee of refund. That's what you agree on while filling out the form. However, you can request for a refund.

Congratulations everyone on their PPR. If you look at the data, the people receiving PPR have all re-applied from CIC GC key, not the portal.

If you applied from portal, then IRCC says that there will be a response to your complete application within 14-30 business days.

When you submit a new application, the older one gets withdrawn, that's what the ircc says. So much confusion around here.
