Can anybody tell me how long it usually takes to receive a Permanent Residence card after landing? My wife landed May 3rd and we haven't received anything yet.

Hello Hopeful, Sorry, just seeing this now. Actually, we received visa same day as interview and my wife landed in Canada May 3rd. The process seems to be so different for everyone, especially when it's the Havana VO. Really hoping you and others waiting hear something soon.

My wife just completed her interview at the Havana VO. After it was over, they asked her to go get some additional passport photos and to return with them. They told her they would let her know then. Anyone heard of this happening before and what it could mean?

I'm thinking they want this info is to prove that the relationship is the same as when we originally sent in the application. It was last July when we started the process.
