    That is why we did not get married in Mexico, we went to Canada to get married. It was much easier than having to deal with all of that. So to my knowledge that is what you have to do. Sorry

    If I were you I would not lie to the government when my husband and I got married in Canada we just told them the truth. He is from Mexico so he came to Canada to get marrried.     Oh right NAFTA you are correct ;D It actually took 6 days after we dropped off the constancia at the Canadian embassy in Mexico city to receive an email requesting my husbands passport.

    thats amazing Jendrian, we leave on Sunday to Canada and the next day we will be sending my husbands passport to Mexico city to get PR then i think we are gonna flagpole in Montana when we get his passport back. Good luck and enjoy your new life but dont forget your roots:)

    It took us 5 1/2 months from start to finish. What helped was that we applied outland and things that needed to be mailed were mailed within Mexico. We also went to Mexico city to do the federal personally and dropped it off at the Canadian embassy personally.

    OMG thats horrible my husband didn't have that problem but he was never in the military so he just went to the military in Cuernavaca and brought what they requested on sedena and about 10 days after his mom picked it up for us. I suppose every case is different

    wow fanastic news i thought he could not do that because he didnt have a visa for USA but seeing as they will just turn him around and send him back to Canada thats awesome. Thanks so much thats a great help:)
