It happened for me, took them 1.5 months to complete background check after I sent FP, still no FP request was mentioned in the tracker

RCMP closes the phone line for FP check, so you won't be able to reach anyone by calling. I'd suggest sending them an email with all your info plus the ID number from your FP document. They'll answer in about a month.

My background check is complete this morning, I guess yours will be updated very soon.

RCMP finally replied my email saying that they sent out the record to IRCC Montreal end of January. Let's keep each other updated if that 30 days window is true

Congrats, and good to know it's actually moving. Did you give FP at the agency in Montreal or at RCMP and then sent it by yourself? Yeah it's confusing that they don't update the tracker. I gave mine on 19th Jan and still waiting for them

Rcmp closes the telephone line for queries about fingerprints aka criminal record. Even if you called a general query, they'll redirect you to that closed line again.

I'm on the same boat as well. Been sending emails to RCMP and calling IRCC to find out since I don't want to miss the deadline. RCMP doesn't respond while IRCC call agent didn't see any receipt of FG on my profile. What I don't understand is that there's not even a FG request in the tracker...

I got FP request 3 weeks ago, but there's no line in my tracker showing that, is it weird? Now either the police nor IRCC confirms if they actually recieved my fingerprints

Is it normal if they sent FP request but the tracker hasn't been updated with that information? I saw others who received such request have that FP line in their timeline.
