You need visa. Dont get china layover. We were forbidden to board in manila coz we dont have a transit visa. So just get the vancouver- calgary or straight flight to calgary just to be sure or else you will just be wasting money. Have a safe trip

Good day! Got the golden email this aftrnoon. Request to send passport. No update on my ecas or anything. I am january 3 applicant. God is good!! Finally the waiting is over. I wish and pray that everyone get their PPR as well.

What is all about these transfr of files? I read in october november and december applicants in other group that their files are also transferred to their respective province and that they are requested for another addtional documents and other files that they already submitted in the beginning...

I guess no PPR today that's sad. Does anybody got a call from cic checking if your still workng for the same employer? Will it lead to PPR? The waiting is killing me :(

I dont think so. I also got that status last april. But last monday i got an update that they are now reviewing my additional documents. They even called my boss to check if i am still working with them last wednesday. So that means i am on background check?

Talking about luck...19 months of waiting this time!!! I am so pissed right now!! I thought i am almost at the finish line. Now they have added 1 more month to the waiting. After June or July they might change it to 20 monhts or so. Good job CIC!! This is insane!!
