Received GCMS notes today finally. Looks like the file has fallen through the cracks. Hasn’t been touched since the spring. Passed a lot of due dates. Knowledge, Language, residence, prohibition, oath.. all Not Started. Sydney and Scarborough. Not sure what we do next.

We’re still at AOR from February 6 and no updates since then. Requested GCMS notes over a month ago but haven’t received yet. Really depressing. Hopefully we hear something soon???

No update here either. Nothing since the beginning of February when they received the application… Seeing many of you already citizens or almost already there is really stressing my husband out. Not sure what’s going on, why his case hasn’t moved at all. Super depressing.

My spouse's PR card expires in a couple weeks and he is currently outside of Canada working. He'll be back home to apply to renew it, but has to leave again for work. He'll put our Canadian mailing address on the application, where I (wife/Canadian citizen) live. When they send the new PR card...

Anyone who has already landed and still waiting for their PR Card? It's been 90 days and still nothing. Can't get through to CIC, surprise surprise! Sent a case soecspec enquiry but still waiting to hear.

No worries! It was good! We landed around 11am on Friday. Border officer took all of his paperwork and gave us a slip and we went inside. Waited for about 15 minutes.. the guy that was handling immigration was on lunch still. Lol. He came back, took all of 10 minutes. He wanted to see a bank...

Yes! My husband is just 30 minutes away from the border so it's perfect. It's 2 hours from where I live but it's ideal for the frequent crossings and not very busy.

We'll be doing that in 2 weeks, on a Friday. Landing at Thousand Islands Bridge. Generally there isn't a line so hopefully will be pretty straight forward.

He got it done at Walmart where I live. He won't be back until Christmas and don't want to leave it too late if we don't have to. He lives on the border in NY so he'll probably just cross to go to a nearby Walmart here.

Question for US applicants in the PPR stage. Where did you go for your photos? His local Walmart/Walgreens said they won't do it.
