    The correspondence was the medical request . No need to call. The next step is to wait .You can join a thread specific to the month you applied, or the visa office processing your application .They'll give you a better idea of how long the process will take . Assume a year, hope it's less .

    I'm in the same boat - submitted Wednesday of last week. For some it's just over a week, for others it's a few weeks. Nothing other than just waiting . If you are able to get into ecas, once it says decision made, it's usually a few days later .
