Every timeline you provided is true and very helpful. But it really depends on the visa office/batch/case complexity. Most of my friends/co workers do not brother to report timelines. All of them have never heard of GCMS notes (They only use webform to check status). And only a couple of them...

My file was sent to Ottawa a few days back. No FT notification. I saw ecas changed to Application Received, and called CIC to confirm my file is in Ottawa office now (30 mins walk from my home, I'm an inland applicant). No MR, AR May 2018. I'm still waiting my notes ordered on April 30 2019...

My ECAS updated (IP->AR) at 12:15 PM noon EST. I was checking every 15~20 min during that time.
