In our case only 1 child so single form

I am thinking to apply a separate TRV for kid providing explanation that parents got visa but study permit application decision is delayed and parents needs to travel to start work and cannot leave kid behind. Have anyone got success with that so far?

No update yet . Study permit application 1294e requested in Feb 2023 . Submitted via webform and received acknowledgment in 1 month (March 2023). No progress since 6 months

No, I did not apply TRV for kid .Just paid the fee at time of application. Kid is 6.5 yr old now . I am not sure but maybe TRV is required for kid < 5 yr and Study permit for >5 yr . Please cross check.

Passports still on way to be delivered. Letter of introduction valid till June 2025 -which is the passport validity date for the main applicant . I believe the visa should be valid till June 2025 as well but will have to enter before medical expires .

Yes, it will cause delay as study permit application was not submitted with initial application and only fee was paid . They asked it at the very end . Trying to get a sense of how long the delay is . Thanks !

No it’s the 1294e they are asking for . I did not submit it earlier . So you should be good !

No as per the 2019 Checklist IMM 5981 (06-2019) E there was no mention for study permit application for kids (imm1294e)

Fee was paid for both spouse and kid at the submission of application but only spouse work permit application was submitted at that time. Now they sent the PPR for husband and wife but for the kid they ask to submit the study permit ( no fee as it was already paid)

Thanks @KD99 . Looks like we are getting near resolution as finally VFS ask me all the information required for the passport submission. I think next they should fix the issue from backend.
