    Covid-19 and immediate family definition

My Thai wife (sounds like a movie) has not had her first landing but has COPR and PR Visa. We were scheduled to leave Bangkok through Seoul and onto YVR on Apr.19. Our flight out of Seoul has been rerouted through LAX. Does this cause any landing problems? Thanks for any forthcoming help.

will new immigration be allowed to into Canada?

Sorry, I don't understand what you are getting at. I arrived in Thailand on nov.22 with a return ticket for apr.19. Our application was approved and COPR and PR Visa stamp issued to us on Jan.9. So last month I purchased a one way ticket for my wife on the same flight as me. Upon rereading I...

COPR affected by travel restrictions due to Coronavirus

Then what is JT meaning when he says exceptions will be made for "immediate family of a Canadian citizen"? Is my wife who is holding a COPR document not my immediate family? Scroll down the page a bit for his video and forward to about 1:15...

will new immigration be allowed to into Canada?

I am in the same situation as you. I am in Thailand with my Thai wife, we received her COPR in January and were to travel back together on Apr.19. Flights are now drying up and I haven't got enough info not make a ticket purchase. Will they let her in? When I watch JT's speech he says that...

My Landing Experience at YVR Vancouver

Thank you. This is my wife's first landing on her PR Visa. I thought that once we get to the kiosk area Canadians are separated from other nationalities. Are you saying that after I finish with the first IO I can join up again with her at that point? Sorry if this is a stupid question. I got a...

My Landing Experience at YVR Vancouver

Thank you for this run-through. It will help my wife knowing what to expect. I will be accompanying her on this trip. So I take it that I should not remove her luggage and take it to the meet and greet area to await her? Is there a waiting area close to her processing area that spouses wait?

Thanks for the quick responses my friends. I was only quoting from memory about her passport expiry date because her original is in Singapore. But now searching through my records I see her expiry is 08/21. This must be the problem. Hoping so anyway.

    Application approved but then...

PR visa outland. Got a heads up today to check my account for changes and when I did I was told that a decision had been made and our application was approved. We were given a tracking ID and told the decision envelope was being dispatched from Singapore back here to Bangkok. Happy days. But now...

    Validation of forms

This is for a PR Outland Visa. I have had to go back to make some small changes to forms that I had already validated. Can I just make the small changes and then revalidate? Will this generate new barcodes? Do I have to clear the form and start again? Thanks for any help. I have finally...

    Cannot validate 5669

In section 5 (Education history) My wife has only completed primary school. The next section asks to give details about all secondary and post secondary education. Obviously there is nothing to record here but when I try to validate the form I am told I must fill in this part. Should I just not...
