2018 Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications: timeline and updates

I'm the sponsor and don't have GCKey either. But did receive a sponsor AOR email 24 hours after my husband got his. Sounds like the Schedule A and PCC request is your AOR. For some reason not everyone gets AOR emails. Nice to see that 'your action is required' is normal.

I uploaded the Schedule A and Police check a few days ago, but the status still says 'Your action is required'. o_O When I view submitted applications, the table that lists the Schedule A and PCC is mostly blank, except green text saying 'Replacement Provided Uploaded'. There's nothing else we...

Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2017 timeline and updates

hey everyone, I noticed that people are receiving their AOR's before being asked to link the GCKEY. We got asked to link GCKEY yesterday but didn't get an AOR. Is the AOR implied or do you get a separate email for it? It doeesn't say anything about AOR or 'acceptance of receipt' anywhere in...

German translations on a budget - frugal exchange

^That could be arranged. Please don't get caught up in the details, it's the process of finding other native (whatever language) speakers proficient in English or French who are also in need of translations, to form reciprocal agreements with each other.

German translations on a budget - frugal exchange

The translations don't have to be done by the applicant or family themselves. In this situation, I'm seeking other native speakers of German proficient in English, who could do the translation (maybe we could do a draft, or they can do the entire translation themselves). It would be a reciprocal...

German translations on a budget - frugal exchange

I've just had this idea that may save people on translations! Particularly from German to English, though others can organize themselves for translations from other languages too, using this same idea. My husband is from Germany and will need to translate his police check soon. Since his police...

Translating a national ID card with EN on it

Hello, My husband is German and his national ID card also has translated headings of English and French on it. German birth certificate - is short okay?

Hello, my husband and I just realized that his birth certificate from Germany is the short version. Meaning the birth dates of his parents are not shown. Will CIC accept this short version or do we have to order the long version? Not even sure a long version exists. :/ Thanks!!

Hello, I'm Canadian and want to sponsor my husband inland. We live together but don't have any joint bills, so need to show joint accounts for financial support, or that he is my beneficiary. We just (as in a few days ago) signed up for joint accounts so won't have the monthly statement...

Spouse Sponsor - how to apply from within Canada

Finat76, have you considered getting an IEC visa? I think Italians can get it for 1 year and I don't think you need a return flight home. My husband is entering Canada on a 1 year IEC visa too and during this time we will apply for inland spousal sponsorship. I have a thread on what to say at...
