Sorry to Ask this Question, but where do we see this status? -> My PR application in my cic account ? I got nothing there it is approved, but that is for my PR application. I received photo request 2 months after I did my landing. what am I missing?

How does some one knows the PR card is approved? do we receive an email? I don't see anything in my cic account.

I landed on Aug 24 - I got a photo request last week, I have sent them the photo. which were received last Tuesday. I thought it would take 10-15 days max to get my PR card but after reading this thread, looks like its ****** crappy process. Do you guys think I can make my travel plans in December?

You are not in trouble, But To be on the safe side I would suggest, give CIC a call, they might ask you to fill in a form and attach additional Documents.

Mine is not .. Passport received on 20th July.. Approved on 10th Aug

Crazy ..People have gotten PPR faster then this. This is adding insult to injury for PNP INLANDERS. 6 and half months to get PPR and already one month over for getting passport back. No transparency at all..

Mine was also delivered in July 21. Did you call them? I have called them several times, they don't give a definitive timeline.

Why they are holding our passports for this long, for it being such an important document?

yes it was approved 10th of August

29 days since my passport was delivered.. Tracker not activated yet.. Not sure what is going on..

sent my passport on 18th of July. tracker is not activated, application is approved. any one has any idea how long would it take?

Hi Guys.. How much time in average it takes from approval to receiving passport? Is there any process left in between? I mean they just have to send us back the passport or is there something else left?

Even more frustrating for a PNP Inlander .. first a year log wait for PNP to get approved then more than 6 months for PPR, Now this .... Don't know what to say any more..

I got the ppr yesterday. I posted my passport 2 hours later. Got the photos from I a near by photocopy store.. they already know the dimensions, its their day to day job, Make sure you have there stamp and your name and DOB on one of the photos.

:) So? Was't I right? My IP2 to PPR took 7 days.. The target is 6 months.. Yes there was a delay due to the backlog but it had to come on track at some point.
