I’m late July too and I agree - that’s why I came to this thread instead LOL Seems like everyone who applied in July got their passport except who applied towards the end of the month .

I wouldn’t be surprised at all

I can’t comment whether having refugee status means longer processing times, but I’m stuck too since Nov 29th and I am not a refugee. 19+ weeks without hearing anything.

Definitely! If you do something that makes you ineligible for becoming a canadian citizen, they will revoke it regardless of your BG and Prohibition being completed.

Yes, it doesn’t make any sense. That’s why they usually send oath invitation within 2 weeks from LPP, at least they don’t have to do further checks. Since our LPP was completed 4 months ago, maybe they need to re-check? Again, this is unfair

Just my guess, don’t take my word as secure…maybe it’s because IRCC needs to make sure you are eligible to become a Canadian citizen up until the day of the oath. Considering your Prohibitions and BG were completed so long ago, maybe they are checking again? It’s messed up because once LPP is...

Exactly!! Like I’m happy for everyone who got their Oath quickly, but it’s unfair for people who have been waiting for months with no update whatsoever. Plus when you call nobody is able to tell you anything except “you need to wait”
