I would most definitely do it from the nominating province and not risk anything... Technically you should still be residing in your nominating province until you've received the PR.

The weirdest thing I heard was your application has been "finalized" but a final decision has not been made. The agent said they day they make the final decision, they send out the PPR the same day. Not sure what to believe at this point. Its just a highly contorted and bureaucratic process...

Yeah same for me. I submitted mine around 11:30pm on Nov 20th but the PDF said Nov 21st. Also when I got my notes, it said Nov 21st there. So in your case that would be Nov 18 id say. Good luck buddy.

Well really hope that's the case. We haven't seen large batches covering multiple days AORs in the last couple of weeks. Hopefully that changes tonight or tomorrow night. Prayers up

Why do you say March 24th ones would be the next? I had mine on Mar 24th, but my AOR is Nov 21st..

So they apparently have an extra step whereby they first "finalize" your application (all documents; all checks on your files etc.). and then after that a decision is made. You get the PPR email the same day that the decision gets made. So all she could tell me was that it would be "soon" but...

Yeah its really weird. My checks were completed on March 24th and they ended up "finalizing" my application last week. But I still haven't heard anything.... AOR - Nov 21

Yeah I feel like it's been this way for just so long... still can't fathom why they don't send out computer generated emails once your file has been finalized..
