bls is closed after Dec 22 for charismas break. I hope you get it before that.

Trying to reach BLS since morning and the call just keeps disconnecting when in the waiting line. My postal entry visa application reached Surrey on OCT26. Nothing yet on the status page. "No results found". they are crazy slow. I hope they haven't misplaced my stuff. :(

My application has been "under process" since yesterday on the BLS tracker. But no Ack email yet. Should I be worried?

Is acknowledgment an email to you? My OCI file reached Surrey on Oct 19th. Didnt hear anything for the next 10 days. Now it says on the tracker "under process". What is the next step should I be looking for? haven't received any communication yet.

Yes. They need passport to put visa on it. You have to send your original passport and a copy too.

Yes you can. I just sent it yesterday and there is no need for fingerprinting and visiting BLS.

Yeah, every time I call it's a different answer. One BLS rep yesterday on the phone told me entry visa is only initiated for Ottawa and Toronto jurisdiction and not for Vancouver so please wait for a few days. I knew she was not right. Called again in 5 minutes and got my shipping labels. No...

My minor is 5 months old and there is nothing else in the dropdown list other than unemployed which makes sense. So for some cases i guess that is the only option.

Cannot agree more. Seems like a money grab. I know the Indian government is angry with Trudaeu but why punish their own people? I am close to spending $1000 on these applications. The stress is killing me.
