Thanks... the strange thing is I saw "decision made" on the same day as application received and processing date i.e. August 8th 2019. Fingers crossed.

Yes it is normal. No one receives an email or letter at DM stage. 'Decision made" means your file has been closed and its all good to go for the next stage i.e. scheduling for Oath, congratulations!

Only the letter which came in email will be fine. Print it and take it with you!

On the oath letter we received, it says wait 3 business days before you apply for Passport.

Had a similar experience. Received Oath letter by email, dated April 21st A week later received oath letter by Canada Post, dated April 19th ECAS updates reads that we send Oath letter on April 27th. Thanks God oath date and time is same on all !
