That's not necessarily true. I am in Alberta and got a mail yesterday that my passport was sent on Sept 7. Tracker was activated about 5 hours later and my passport is already in the province to be delivered Monday. Same for all my friends, it's typically 2 days.

We are saying 2 different things! For a pending application, they will approve it even though they know he doesn't need it. It's different from an existing TRV.

That's not true. I applied for study permit extension while waiting for PR. PR got approved early August and Study permit was approved yesterday. I should have withdrawn the application but kept it for some reason. And its not only me...happened to a number of people

That's not your tracking number. You should have been given the tracking number on the prepaid envelope. I am not sure there's anyway around it than for you to wait.
