My husband's document printed on 21/06/2023 and dispatched and received at Toronto 21/06/2023. I paid for pickup and dropoff and I still see that OCI is being processed at consulate general as the status in BLS tracking. How long do they take to dispatch? Do you know?

My husband surrendered in person in Toronto on Feb 14th and they accepted the self affidavit that he has not gotten the Canada passport yet. Currently, the status in passport seva site is surrender application is in review at the consulate. I will keep you updated on what happens.

All, lots of appointments just opened up at Toronto BLS. I just booked an appointment for my husband's surrender. Yesterday, when I checked it was all booked solid but today I see like 20 appointments just for tomorrow. Go and grab it if you want. You can save $70 for purolator pickup and dropoff :D

I had front and back pages along with visa pages. The lady took out everything other than front and back. So for my husband, I used only front and back. It is in process right now so they accepted just front and back. Hope this helps.

Sorry, I should have clarified. The tickets are for March 4th, applying for express/urgent passport on Monday feb 13th. Then e-visa. So I will not worry about surrender now at all. Thank you, I appreciate it.

I finally received the OCI. On Jan 6th BLS tracking got updated that the OCI is ready to dispatch in the morning. In the afternoon, I got the Purolator tracking ID. I received the OCI card yesterday Jan 9th around 4 p.m.
