Translation of documents and Certified true copies

Hi, a certified translator can give an affidavit everywhere in the world, just ask around, not all translators want to give this because it means more work to go to the notary and everything so it may cost you more money. I believe if you translate your documents with the ministry of foreign...

Mexico City Visa Office...... Let's Connect Here

It took 75 days after I applied. Everyone tells me that I should only need a photocopy of my passport, since we are visa-exempt, however the email says original...it doesn't say anything about a photocopy, it's pretty generic so maybe they just made an error and sent me another one, I don't...

Mexico City Visa Office...... Let's Connect Here

Hi guys, I've just got a CPCO email from the Mexico office, saying I should send by courier my passport, however I'm pretty sure my country, Chile, is visa exempt so I don't know if I really have to send it or not, the email looks pretty generic, not personalised. Certified copies of originals?

Does the certified copies have to be translated as well? I mean the notary will say it's a certified copy but in my language (Spanish), so I'm not sure if I have to ask the translator to translate that as well. Certified copies of originals?

Does this copy needs to be also in English? I mean the person who certifies copies is a notary, I guess, so they are going to do it in a foreign language. Do I need to translate the copies as well? I find these so confusing! anyone who know?

Inquiry regarding Certified Copies for translated documents

You mean the translator will make the certified copy of the original? Shouldn't a notary do that? Well I'm scanning everything so I would prefer to just upload the original, but I have read everywhere that I need to scan a certified copy and that doesn't make sence if everything is anyway scanned.

Inquiry regarding Certified Copies for translated documents

That's what I think too...but I read everywhere that we need certified copies so notarized copies of the originals. Did you get the visa? I'm not sure if my application will be rejected if I only submit the originals, translations and affidavit without the certified copies :/
