I think the fingerprints and processing are separate! A friend of mine got his fingerprint request on one day, and just by the following day even before he sends the fingerprints he got the test invitation. So, I think all these steps, from fingerprints, testing, are all within the "processing"...

PR getting a citizenship from a foreign country (not Canada, not Home country)

Thank you for the information. I was wondering because the nationality is listed on the back of the PR Card and I am not sure if that might cause confusion when the card is presented with a passport from a a different country.

So, I think my question is clear. What is the case if a PR is getting a new citizenship (not home country, not Canada) after getting the Canadian PR? Should we update IRCC with this? Also, should the nationality on back for the PR card changed to the dual citizenship? Can the PR enter...

Need to hand in my old expired passport to home country

If there is no choice, then prepare a certified true copy for your passport and all pages from a notary public. Also, try to make it as late as possible so that your true copy is dated AFTER you apply for citizenship. Also keep a copy for your new passport application that shows that you have...

Best way to withdraw Sponsored PR application

If I were you I would also inform CIC in writing that you need your PR application to be cancelled (if the relationship is really broken), just to show your good intentions. Who knows you might need to come back to Canada or apply for PR in the future.

After 11 Oct 2017 - For those who will leave Canada after they apply - Discussion

Thank you for your inputs. If you will consult a lawyer, please let us know his recommendations to help us. I have just some thoughts.
