Daily commute (Canada - USA) Citizenship Path

No, I don't have the clause but you can search through the forums, I belive I've seen a discussion on that. There isn't a law or clause that allows you to live in Canada at night and US in the day. However, any amount of time, even 1 hr that you spend in Canada counts as 1 day. The important...

Daily commute (Canada - USA) Citizenship Path

Yes! Daily commuter Windsor-Detroit and applied for citizenship Sept 2021. Application approved and took oath Nov 2022. I had to have an interview though so they could verify the reason for the multiple border crossings. It was just a simple check o validate. Oh and I had moved to the US as they...

Daily commute (Detroit-Windsor) (H1b and Canada PR)

I think it is advised that you file the extension while in the US to avoid consular processing. When I filed my extension and transfer I made sure that I was in the US when the application was delivered to USCIS and that I gave a US address for the filing (used the lawyer's office address)...

Daily commute (Detroit-Windsor) (H1b and Canada PR)

I'm not sure but I think they would update the I-94 records to keep track of non-immigrants. I was asked by the citizenship office to request and submit my records. Granted, I was crossing daily for work before the pandemic. Did this for 3 years so it was a lot of entries for me and IRCC wanted...

Daily commute (Detroit-Windsor) (H1b and Canada PR)

I agree with @swan0206 . You should be good. And if you need to correct your I-94 you can email the CBP office. I highly recommend as I was asked to submit all my I-94 records as part of my Canadian citizenship application as I used to cross a lot for work.

Citizenship - Interview ( Living abroad)

I am living and working abroad and just had my interview yesterday. Mine was virtual but I flew in to Canada just because I did not want any processing delays. The officer asked me about my absences and multiple border crossings. She asked me where I currently live and was truthful...did not...

I'm also in the same situation, I currently live outside of Canada and will be flying in to take the oath. Were you scheduled for an interview with an official?
