I am glad to help! They got my passport on dec 11th and l am still waiting to get it back Apparently l won't have it until January (based on what l am seeing on this forum) Someone called CIC and they said it would take a while , maybe because of the Holidays l imagine I sent it to Ottawa btw

I just typed it on a word document and used inches / centimetres ( if that’s your question ) Just put all your personal info at the top such as file number and UCI then height : xx in/ xxx cm

You don't get email notification for Background check; However, on the same day my BGC changed to in process on my cic account l got an email requesting my police certificate clearance.There are no patterns really

You shouldn't! At least you got an email on october 20th! That's a good signal!!! Some people get their BGC updated just before DM. It doesn't really have to stay in process for months ...
