    Personal Identification Document

Thanks, missed that. I only photocopied one side of the health insurance card though and I'm wondering if that would be fine since the other side doesn't really have much information other than the organ donor thing... guess I should photocopy the back to be safe?

    Personal Identification Document

Hey everyone, I'm submitting my application and am hoping to ease my mind as I'm worried about something going wrong. In the document checklist it says: "Photocopy of personal identification document. The document must have your name, photo, and date of birth on it. If there is information on...

    SIN Number Incorrect

The R1 is appearing in my Revenu Quebec portal with the correct SIN number so there does not appear to be any issue there, I just still do not see the T4 listed in CRA's portal. Thank you, that is comforting.

    SIN Number Incorrect

They are refusing to change it, unfortunately. They just say they will have it fixed for next year. I don't like that the T4s are not appearing in my CRA portal, and my old account/SIN number do not even work on their website any more. Maybe I am just blowing things out of proportion and CRA...

    SIN Number Incorrect

They never sent the T4s with the correct SIN numbers, I can't bring them up on my CRA Account. Last year it had just recently been changed. It just doesn't seem right to keep filing taxes under a wrong SIN number. I don't want this to come back to haunt me years down the line.

New Permanent Resident- SIN Issue for Taxes

Sorry, another question. I know that CRA has linked the two SIN numbers together, but do you guys know if the same can be said about the Quebec government?

New Permanent Resident- SIN Issue for Taxes

Thanks! I did that as well, but through email and I had to contact CRA to give me a security code to reauthenticate my account. She looked up my old SIN number for me and told me that it just redirected her back to my new SIN, so all should truly be ok.

New Permanent Resident- SIN Issue for Taxes

Hey everyone, I already posted this in the Permanent Residency Obligations section, but I wasn't quite sure where to put it and maybe this is a better fit. I was granted permanent residency a bit over a month ago (YAY) and my SIN number was quickly changed. I gave my employer the new SIN number...

New Permanent Resident- SIN Issue for Taxes

Hey everyone, this is my first post on the forum and I wasn't quite sure where to put it. I'm sorry if it is in the wrong category. I was granted permanent residency a bit over a month ago (YAY) and my SIN number was quickly changed. I gave my employer the new SIN number and they made a copy...
