The update that they are processing 3rd Nov forms seems to be correct as me and my wife had sent our photos in November 1st week and her photos where received around 3rd-4th Nov while mine was received on 6th Nov..... Her PR card was approved on 5th Jan 2018.... but mine is still "under review"....

No documents/proof to be shown for such request... it is just a formal letter... helps in most cases... they do not want any proof why you are applying for PRTD.... even if it is "under review" I would recommend that you get the PRTD.... there are many cases where it has taken over 2 months...

I would recommend you put up your documents for PRTD and also attach a letter stating that you had to come back to dispose of your personal assets before your could finally settle in Canada, once and for all. This is a valid and genuine reason in your case.

The card (with letter) is not delivered in person. It is put in the mailbox. Hence, don't worry. It will safely reach the provided address (in the mailbox).
