Its the average for all kinds of work permits. open, lmia based closed permits, sowp.... sowp has least priority, and takes more time to verify all the docs.

ITA, pool of candidates. This sounds like a response to a query about express entry. Do you also have an express entry profile active? maybe they mixed up? Better to check with your local MP. I was able to get a proper status update when I went that way.

I got one as well. And to answer your question, a quote from their interview message. "...a photocopy of the original document. Do not submit originals unless specifically asked to do so..." But take the originals, along with copies of the documents.

I guess you'll have more luck winning something on olg than getting a reply from Delhi via email. I emailed them twice in past 5 weeks and nothing yet. Same with submitting CSE. Since vfs just relays info from CIC, I don't think you'd get an update from them before it appears on CIC account.

Any vfs office will do. When you submit it, you'll be providing your address to where it should be mailed. (or you can choose to pick it up at a vfs centre).

Hey, passport request is made for stamping of visa, which means the decision is positive, and your work permit has been granted. Don't see why else they need the passport.
