GCMS NOTES WELL EXPLAINED HAS NEVER BEFORE UNTIL NOW

Can anyone tell me what this might mean? Near the bottom of our GCMS notes: "CPCO RFV sent via email correspondence - not saved in GCMS." This line is dated October 31. We got no email anywhere near that date. We got DM in August and PPR in December, and I don't understand what happened during...

    MARCH 2017 *OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANT*

Has anyone else got DM a long time ago, but no PPR? My wife (applicant) got DM in August. Several days later, I (sponsor) got an email saying the application moved from Ottawa back to Mississauga, with no additional details. We've had no communication since then. MyCIC and the phone system...

    MARCH 2017 *OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANT*

We submitted PCC and Schedule through the webform on April 11. It's still not attached either. But three days ago I got the email "We are pleased to confirm the reception of your document. We have forwarded it to the responsible office for their consideration." - I think this means they opened...

Confused regarding when and how to send Schedule A etc. what was your experience

Schedule A and PCC must be provided together. As for needing the request, we didn't need that for Korea, so I can't help you. You should call the IRCC hotline.

Confused regarding when and how to send Schedule A etc. what was your experience

It's very possible you'll never get the email. They only attempt to send it once, and they've been having problems with those emails for the past few months. Anyways, I would submit via IRCC webform immediately to avoid any lost time. Here are the instructions you'd get after several weeks if...

    MARCH 2017 *OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANT*

Yes, there definitely should be an auto-reply email sent instantly after you submit the IRCC webform. I believe it will only be sent to the "enquirer" (as entered in the webform), so the PA will only get it if the PA him/herself was the enquirer.

Is the timeline of my application okay?

Doug, your timeline looks the same as ours and we submitted our application on March 8. It will take a while but I DO suggest calling them to check if there are any outstanding requests that they failed to send.

We just got this email too. I think in response to the myCIC technical issue we filed a while ago. "Please upload this additional document and attach it to my application" - is there something magic about including this string? If so, why couldn't the call centre guy have told me this three...

What ... the guy I spoke to me told me multiple times that I must choose "technical difficulty" when submitting PCC/Schedule A... Maybe I should submit again using the Sponsoring category as well...

Does anyone know if they did anything other than routine IT maintenance?

I did the same, two weeks ago. Call centre told me IRCC webform also takes 3-4 weeks. I honestly don't think what they say has any basis in reality though. They might be right sometimes, by accident.

    MARCH 2017 *OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANT*

Application process has been really frustrating so far. We applied on March 8. Sponsor approval on March 28. But they never sent a Schedule A request even though their system thinks that they did. I got the documents ready ahead of time and waited patiently for the request, but after a few...

February 2017 * OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLIC*

I would like to know about this as well - do you really have to send the Schedule A and police checks by mail?. I expect to get the docs request email soon (our app isn't going to HK visa office though). Also, is that really how they ask for police certificates? You have to figure out for...

Spousal Sponsorship - LINKING APP TO CIC ACCOUNT???

We luckily linked ours on the 4th try today. The method that worked was Application# + Family name, name in all caps, space for city, no passport info, 2 people, and crucially, "single" marital status. Many thanks to this forum, we would never have thought to try that on our own. What a stupid...

Canadian police check for outland application

Hmm. My wife has been here for one year so maybe we should get that prepared in advance, just in case. After all, I did spend extra money couriering our application just to save a few days.

Canadian police check for outland application

I presume their "No" just means that you don't need it upfront. But how many people do get asked for the Canadian police check during the application? We sent our application recently, and just came across the wait times for a Canadian police check - scary (although it seems the wait time...
