You came to Canada in 2013 - I assume you had a passport from your origin country. When this passport expired did you renew? They want to know if there is a gap between the expiration of a passport and you getting a new one.

This rule is meant to cover people that have to go out of the country due to their jobs, like army deployed to another country, CBSA officers working abroad or embassy/consulate employees. I believe CIC will not count this period you were in India.

On his previous post he said he sent a presence calculation without his christmas trip, so it had over 1460 days. He is short one day when he add that trip, but CIC don't know about it yet.

Re: Advuce needed guys! They don't control when you enter and leave Canada and revoke PR automatically. Maybe if the kid comes to visit the parent in Canada and the CBSA officer sends the information to CIC, but I don't think they would do that for a minor.
