Thanks CanDream, i think so too, it's always the case with governmental processes but now i am waiting for the passport Permanent residency, i already sent it but i have been waiting for 20 days and i am wondering how much more time will it take...and the processing times doesn't say anything...

go with which every you prefer to live with, if you prefer english go with federal although there is a huge anglo community in Montreal but i would bet you need french as well. also consider job market and prospects... it all comes down to your preferences and check with your nationality...

no i don't think so, since they are issuing my Permanent visa permit now, so i'd say it is calculated from the time i applied.

my advice to you my friend is live your life normally and don't wait for anything, things might take longer than you expect but hopefully not so long, anyway it took a long time for me since the beginning but i learned not to wait because it just not that healty...lol

Hey man i don't know much about a family application, but i had translated my transcripts only in english or french and legaly stamped the document to be recognized abroad form the ministry of education in the city of issuance and also the foreign ministry. hope i was of help

I studied for 3 month around 300 questions so be prepared and study hard, but for me i had to do the interview in french and i have an intermediate level but also you have to get a lot of information about Canada to get the CSQ very surely.
