Finally got a DM on eCas on 9th June 2017. 232 days from citizenship test on Oct 20th 2016. Now, the wait for the letter begins.

Does anyone feel they over analysis the background checks? Considering we have to go through a similar(?) process when we become permanent residents? I say this as my file too is stuck IP since Oct/Nov 2016 due to the prohibitions check. I am a July/Aug 2016 applicant.

My application is at the Hamilton office too. I have applied back in (late) July 2016, completed my test on 20th Oct 2016 and my application is still in process. It been almost 7 months since my test. And there have been no updates since. The Hamilton office has been really slow for me and...

No documents. Application is routine.

I have been 'In Process ' since Oct 24th, 2016. I called them after 6 months and all they say is that the application is still within the 12 month timeframe. I've applied in July 2016.

I currently have an Indian passport.

I am in Burlington. My local IRCC office is Hamilton.

Mine has been "in process" since Oct 2016 due to security checks.

There are 3 checks that need to take place once you file is "in process". 1 of them triggers the test invite. The remain 2 are security based checks.

My eCas still shows "In Process". I've called CIC and have been told that my security check(s) is pending.

I was told by the Hamilton office that I should be getting my oath invite in about 1 month back when I completed the test in Oct 2016. Still haven't gotten the invite.

I would advise you to update your current mailing address on e-Cas and follow up by contacting IRCC to confirm the changes. e-CAS may not update when you do get your oath invite, but they will mail you the documents.

I haven't got a RQ or Fingerprints. When I call CIC on the 1-888 number, they informed me that my documents and application are complete. just the security/background checks are remaining.
