I have moved to Canada with my wife who is Canadian and we are in the process of filing for a spousal visa with a work permit. I own a marketing business that is based in the UK. Am I allowed to get Canadian clients that pay me into a UK account?

how long does implied status last?

My visitor visa runs out at the end of Feb. Do I get implied now that it is through? If it takes a month I don't have much time!

Thanks. Do you know if my wife also has to work? She has a PT job at the moment but is studying for law bar exams and her job is taking up studying time. Would she be able to quit her job and live off our savings and still sponsor me?

My wife is currently sponsoring me, she is a law student and has taken on a part time job in which to "sponsor" me. Does she need to have a job? Or can we live off savings etc?
