How long does it take to get the US Police clearance from the FBI these days(2019)? I remember a few yers ago it took 3-6 months!!

An additional question to the above... Does "Your license must be surrendered" imply that the Canadians will take possession of the US driver's license?

Is there a limit to the number of times you can decline an invitation?

I am planning on declining my current ITA, and try to submit my application if I get selected in the next draw. Can I do my medicals after cancelling my ITA? Or do I have to first receive the new ITA before doing medicals? Thanks

@axolotl I don't mean to pry, but I'm curious as to the type of job you have been looking for and getting interviews and offers for. Is it more of a technical role(software engineering, etc) or more of an analyst/business/management type role? Cheers

I really don't know for sure. But my guess would be that it is near-impossible to migrate later in life... maybe? And i'd speculate that their retirement dollars (savings) would go a lot further in Asia than it would in Canada.

Kinda late to reply to you. But, that's pretty much identical to what everyone I know who migrated to Canada from Dubai ended up doing. And many of them regret moving in the first place. The only reason I can think of (and which they won't admit) is the fact that their kids get to call Canada...
