We did our citizenship ceremony today at Scarborough! It was very well planned, just like some others have eluded in the past. The judge presided over - gave our certificates and yes we are Canadians now!! Now would run for passport in the next few days... Thanks to everybody in this forum, wish...

One of the documents required to apply for passport is "any valid Canadian travel document issued in your name" please advise what can we use for this? We won't have the PR card so what can we use? Thanks in advance

Mississauga has way more oaths scheduled than Scarborough. I don't know whether Scarborough will add more too but looking at the huge backlog that Scarborough has they cant get everybody accommodated in these four ceremonies.

I'm waiting for oath too. DM Dec 7th - nothing yet. For you nash_avatar it took 3 weeks I guess! Did you do your test in Scarborough?

Thank you for the wishes. Just that waiting after DM is tougher - when you know its all done but you have to wait for the oath. My DM was made 2 weeks ago, no invite yet. Don't know when I would receive one!

Did the test on Dec 4th, scored 20/20. The questions were similar to the ones form the online tests but studying the book at least twice is highly recommended. The interview as pretty good, I had a lot of travels to the US as well as had H1B's in the past. I had all the answers ready beforehand...

Very likely it will be good news. I've seen others where they say they will "investigate further" as probably the interviewer didn't have time during the interview to go through the number of days outside of Canada properly. Later, they do the diligence and send out a DM.

I have quite a few travels to the US during the last four years. they might ask about those, I guess!
