I guess i was correct.My ecas shows in process this morning.But the weird thing is both my sponsorship and permanent residence application is showing "in process".Has anyone met this before?

I understand the process bar is meaningless .The reason i am asking is that my application was received on may10th,and I'm able to see the bar until this noon.So i am assuming they are processing my application?

Anyone whose application is not in process but is able to see the process bar?Or anyone can see it as long as the application is linked to cic account?

For those who have been requested the biometrics,their parents should be in their home country when they apply.They just came to canada after the application has been sent.So CIC deems that they are still in their countries base on how they filled their forms at the time of applying.

I really feel for those call center agents who are borthered with repetitive questions.They may be repeatedly asked to check the applicants' status for thousands of times which makes the job so tedious while they have to maintain their good attitudes.Other than the job security and good benifits...

My ecas is also available today.My application was received on 10th,may.You can see my post a few pages back.

I can see the status using both my and my mother's UCI,while the receipt number didnot work for me.And linked my application using my mum's uci and family name.

Received by CIC on 10th

Seems cic is moving faster! I'M now able to see the status now for the application submitted on 10th may and able to link it.Hope u guys best of luck.
