My parents are from Nigeria and they have received AOR, sponsor approval,and now the file has been transferred to Montreal office.

Exactly, i just dont understand why IRCC is pretending to process these applications faster by dishing out medical request immediately after sponsor approval mail. I hate when they force people's pareants to redo medicals.

I wish someone would correct this with IRCC, they are giving medical requests way too early, I have seen how this can cause people a lot of headaches because the medical expires in one year and usually IRCC will not finish the process within the one year and people will have to do it again.

I received a correspondence from IRCC today and it says AOR on the subject. But they are also saying I need to send them evaluation for financial info, at the same time they wrote “…if you already gave consent to get it from CRA…blah blah” I already gave them everything they ask for, both SIN no...

i got a ghost email but nothing changed on the status update.

I’m confused. I didn’t mention anything to the effect of staying in Canada and get extension till they finalize their PR sponsorship.

My parents visitors visa just got approved and they have parent sponsorship submitted also. Tho the parent sponsorship app was still in submitted status when their visitors visa got approved
